Great place to stay, highly recommended

Points positifs : Martine was a super host, meeting us a little early off our boat, she welcomed us to her fabulous rental home, showed us around!

Would definitely recommend to any of my friends or family to stay there if in that area.

Points positifs : Location in central of Bayeux was perfect. Well furnished and all the comforts you could need. Quiet location. 5-10 mins walk to centre on town. Host was great. Ideal location for travelling to the WW2 beaches and museums. Secure bike/car parking. Plenty communication.

Points négatifs : Nothing really.

Excellent property, quiet location ,only 10 mins walk to main shopping and restaurant street.

Points positifs : Martine the host, was waiting for us. Explained everything necessary. Left us a bottle of cider and of apple juice in Fridge.😀. Off street and secure parking a real bonus.

A very conveniently placed townhouse, and also a quiet location. Very clean and tidy.

Points positifs : The property is situated only a short distance from the town centre, so as we were cycle-touring it was only a 5 minute bike ride to the shops. Equally you could walk into town (20 minutes).

Points négatifs : Nothing. Everything was fine.

Excellent house for pur extended family stay. Walking distance to high street in Bayeax!

Points positifs : Owners came to meet us even though we were 1.5 hrs early. Really great experience.

Points positifs : The house was beautifully decorated and in a great location. The house and car park was behind a locked gate and in a very quiet area in close walking distance to the tapestry and cathedral. The interior of the house felt very newly decorated and exceptionally clean. There were 4 of us staying and we had plenty of room. The host was fantastic and answered all our questions and sorted our wifi issue when it stopped working on the second day extremely quickly. I would definitely recommend staying here.

Points négatifs : Some of us found the beds a little hard but they felt very new to me. A curtain or blind in the toilet on the second floor would be welcomed as it felt rather exposed to the houses that overlooked the bathroom. Apart from that it was great.

A pleasure to stay in this unique property, which was an ideal base for exploring the area.

Points positifs : Peaceful, secure location in historic property with on-site car parking, within walking distance of town centre, cathedral, and museums. Ideally located for visiting D-Day beaches and museums, and exploring the countryside. Boulangerie and minimarket close by.

Points négatifs : Minor points, but stairs were noisy (creaky), and bedrooms lacked mirrors, and storage facilities for clothes.

Beautiful French house on the edge of Bayeux.

Points positifs : Superb base for Normandy. Tapestry, Cathedral, markets, WWII museum & cemeteries all walkable. Gated parking, courtyard garden for evening sun.

Points positifs : We loved our week-long stay here in Bayeux. Martine met us when we arrived to give us a tour, keys, and to explain how the parking gate worked. She also gave us some local treats which was very nice. It was the perfect location - close to walk to the center and all the shops and restaurants, and easy access to the highway for day trips. We made some nice meals during our stay in the well-equipped kitchen, and enjoyed the big living/dining room.
