Points positifs : Maison agréable. Lits très confortables. Juste en dehors du centre avec une petite ballade à pied de 10 minutes qui permet de bien apprécier Bayeux.

Points positifs : La maison est accueillante, pratique, cosy! On s y sent vraiment bien. Elle est très proche du centre ville en garantissant le calme de la campagne. Les Declos sont disponibles et vraiment très gentils.

Points positifs : La Maison des Declos, is a lovely property in Bayeux, a great location for discovering all the interesting D-Day sites and Normandy beaches. Plus the owners are happy to help if required to make sure your stay is a pleasurable experience.

Points négatifs : There's nothing not to like, book this retreat if you want a perfect stay in Bayeux.

Points positifs : Very convenient location a mere 10 minute walk from cathedral , shops and restaurants. Clean and roomy - exactly what we were after 👍

Points négatifs : Main toilet needs attention as was very very slow in filling cistern for flushing. Garden / decking area could do with some TLC ie weeding etc. But these were very minor things and did not spoil our stay 👍

Excellent property, great location and nicely furnished.

Points positifs : Location was perfect, could walk into town within 10 minutes, and was very near the ring road so easy to leave town to do touristy stuff. Very clean and comfortable. Happily spend a night in after a big day out. Really good having the electric heaters in all rooms. Very very quiet. Beds were very comfortable. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Points négatifs : Only thing that let it down was the lack of basic things like tea towel & dishwasher tablets, and a draining board. Which meant we couldn't wash up until we went to a supermarket. For how great everything else was about the property, it was strange not to have these basic things there when we arrived. Also, not a big deal, but not lots of space for toiletries etc in the bathroom.

Great location and lovely decor

Points positifs : Comfortable property and really nicely decorated. Comfortable furniture, too. The location is ideal. It's really quiet, but only a few minutes walk into Bayeux so we were able to leavethe car at the property whenever we visited the town for dinner.

Points négatifs : Instructions for wood burner and electric radiators would have helped. Melrose Maison did not fulfil promise of help when query raised with them.

A good enjoyable and convenient place to stay in Bayeux. Our comments will hopefully further improve

Points positifs : We liked the bedrooms and living area and the fact there were 2 toilets. The garden and furniture was excellent.

Points négatifs : We would have liked some coffee pods provided (a few on arrival) with the espresso machine, hand soaps at all wash basins and better bath toiletries, and proper knives for preparing food.

This was a perfect property for a short stay to visit Bayeux and the Normandy D-Day beaches.

Points positifs : Situated in a quiet off-road location with safe private parking outside. Only 10 – 15 minutes walk from the cathedral, museums, shops and restaurants. Clean, spacious and well equipped. Some outside garden space with furniture to enjoy when the weather permits. An excellent house handbook with clearly laid out information. The photos guiding us to the property and key box were really helpful.

Points négatifs : There was no freezer which wasn't a big issue, however, would be in the summer months. The pillows on the beds were poor quality and only 1 per person. The house handbook was excellent, however the instructions regarding refuse disposal did not match up with the bins provided outside the house. Bedroom mirrors would also be helpful. None of the above spoilt a most enjoyable few days.
