Expérience bocagère.

Points positifs : Au fin fond de la campagne bas-normande, entre les vaches et des pommes, dans un micro-village peuplé de nos amis britanniques, cette petite maison est assez atypique par sa décoration. Elle peut surprendre ; on a l'impression que la propriétaire l'a abondamment meublée d'objets de brocante de récupération bricolés peut-être par ses soins. C'est assez inhabituel, à l'opposé de la décoration Ikea que l'on trouve partout. Tout est prévu, il ne manque rien, malheureusement le confort du séjour est un peu insuffisant. Le fauteuil et le canapé ne sont pas confortables et la table basse peu pratique pour les repas. Le li est bon. Dans la salle de bain, tout à fait correcte, une odeur d'égout malheureusement remonte le matin. La conclusion est donc un peu mitigée mais le séjour n'en reste pas moins une expérience sympathique, avec un bon accueil, un rapport qualité-prix correct, dans un calme absolu.

Points positifs : Tout était vraiment parfait. De la communication, l'accueil à la décoration de la maison, Gérard et Claire sont des hôtes attentionnés. Merci à vous.

Une petite maison comme on en rêve

Points positifs : Un dépaysement total dans cette petite maison tellement charmante. On se sent tout de suite chez soi : déco incroyable, équipement au top, ultra confortable et neuf. Un calme total ! Je recommande les balades à pied à partir du village et les cascades de Mortain à quelques kilomètres.

Great location and property.

Points positifs : The location is excellent, in a lovely village. Be warned, however, that there are no shops and a restaurant with limited opening hours. Didn't bother us; it's all in the description anyway. The square the property is located in is quiet and bathed in sunshine in the evening. We took the fold-up table out onto the pavement and had our evening meal there. Fibre internet if you need to work. Well-equipped kitchen. I couldn't fault the cottage, my husband and I loved it. Claire who met us with the keys, is lovely and very accommodating. We were in danger of running late for arrival but nothing was too much trouble.

Points négatifs : As others have mentioned, there is no dining table, but there is a large round low table which you can sit down at, cross-legged on the cushions provided. Suited us to a tee, pretend you're Japanese! You can also sit at the kitchen bar on the stools provided.

Pretty village house

Points positifs : A beautifully designed and cosy place, in the middle of a lovely little village. Lots of towns around to explore, and places of historical importance. Plenty of amenities and supplies at the house, and a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. The lady we met was lovely and helpful, and we felt at home at this charming house.

Points négatifs : Not a problem for us, but to note that you go through the first bedroom to get to the bathroom and then the other bedroom.

A complete home in a quiet village.

Points positifs : The property was well appointed and was situated in a quiet square with easy parking. The was a cafe and a restaurant in the village but only open on some days during a week.

Had very enjoyable stay in a multi-national French village - a great base for our cycling adventures

Points positifs : Good kitchen facilities, TV, WiFi. Very comfortable mattresses. Responsiveness and support from the property owner to resolve issues during our stay.

Points négatifs : No dining table, very steep staircase to the loft room. Leaking water into the kitchen from the shower tray in the bathroom above - but owner did try to fix this during our stay. Many unnecessary ornamental objects in such a small space.

Points positifs : Het is een prachtig huisje dat charmeert van zodra je binnen treedt en met oog voor elk detail is ingericht. Je waant je in een andere tijd. Combi van oud en preloved nieuw. Zowel vooraan als achteraan kan je buiten zitten als je wil. Alles faciliteiten zijn voorzien, supermarkten dichtbij. Op een erg gezellig pleintje. Ideaal om je terug te trekken en van daaruit de prachtige streek te ontdekken. Gastheer is constant bereikbaar en vriendelijk. Niets is teveel. Ik vergat mijn box en die werd zonder problemen opgestuurd naar België.
