Great value for money for a family

Points positifs : Brilliant location; spacious and affordable; everything you need for a great visit to the Normandy sites.

Points négatifs : The stairs to get up to the two upstairs bedrooms are very steep and narrow, which might not suit people with accessibility challenges.

Great stay nice touches

Points positifs : Great space and has everything you need. Really nice touch with the goodies left for us.

Points négatifs : If you have mobility issues or young kids the stairs to the second bedroom could be a problem. Also some bowls would be nice for breakfasts. It’s a little cold in the mornings as the heating doesn’t turn on until it’s time to check out would have been nice if it was on a little earlier and having to pay extra for towels seems strange not everyone is local travelling so there’s no way we could travel from Australia with towels. I think towels should be included as it’s an essential for a stay especially as the price doesn’t reflect this.

Points positifs : Casa confortable y amplia, algo pasada de moda y vieja en cuanto a diseño, pero funcional. Aceptan perros, y tiene zona privada de aparcamiento para coche.

Points négatifs : Las instrucciones y ubicación de la casa no eran del todo correctas y nos enviaron a una fábrica de sidra que había en las cercanías, pero tuvimos que preguntar para poder encontrarlo.

Casa completa para parada en turismo de playas de Normandía

Points positifs : Es una casa completa muy bien situada para visitar las playas del desembarco. Muy cerca de Omaha Beach y el cementerio americano. También de camino a Utah Beach. La casa tiene las comodidades necesarias para poder comer/cenar allí. Aparcamiento en la propia parcela. Camas cómodas. Casa antigua pero todo el piso superior reformado. Calefacción si es necesario. Limpio. Wifi.

Points négatifs : Comentar que para subir al piso superior las escaleras son tipo desván. Fuertes y con barandilla pero no adecuadas para personas con movilidad reducida. Pero hay una cama doble en la planta de abajo.

A seprate house with parking

Points positifs : When we booked it, all the house was ours. This is the old house (not too old in French terms, maybe some 100 years), it has 3 sleeping rooms, the kitchen is new. It has old house charm. The parking is in the front of the house, the space is for 2 cars at least. We contacted the host and got instructions where to find the keys. The house is situated in small village, on the road (not a busy one). There are houses on the left and on the right.

Points négatifs : There is an old house smell, but for us it was not a big problem. The house is on the road, but you cannot change that.

Schöne Unterkunft, kann ich nur weiterempfehlen!

Points positifs : Große Unterkunft, mit eigenem Parkplatz! Der Gastgeber war freundlich und hilfsbereit!

Viisihenkisen perheen + koira pikapysähdys Normandiassa

Points positifs : Vuoteet olivat siistejä ja mukavia ja peitot muhkeita. Peseytymistilat olivat siistit, pyyhkeitä ja liinavaatteita saatavilla. Kahvia oli kaapissa, mikä on aina iso +. Lisäksi saimme pullollisen paikallista siideriä sekä myös makeita herkkuja oli jätetty meille. Vesijohtovettä ei voinut juoda, mutta omistaja toi meille pyytämättä pari pulloa vettä, koska omamme olivat loppuneet. Yläkertaan oli jyrkät portaat, mutta niissä oli tukevat kaiteet ja automaattivalot. Talo on hyvällä sijainnilla. Siitä voi käydä helposti autolla tutustumassa moniin Omaha beachin historiallisiin kohteisiin. Pieneen kauppaan on reilun 3km matka.

Points négatifs : Varasimme talon vasta klo 16 aikaan rengasrikon vuoksi ja odotimme vastausta sisäänkirjautumisesta yli kolmen tunnin ajan. Tämä loi paineita, koska meillä ei ollut yöpymispaikkaa ja auto täynnä lapsia. Viime hetkellä saimme vastauksen kun olimme jo lähteneet ajamaan muualle ja sen jälkeen kaikki menikin täydellisen hyvin. Suosittelen siis vähän aikaisempaa varaamista. :)
