Château de Monceaux 5mn de Bayeux proche Mer

Excellent séjour dans un magnifique domaine.

Points positifs : Cadre magnifique : vaste jardin bien entretenu, belle bâtisse, appartement très spacieux, cuisine bien équipée,.

Beau séjour en famille pour visite les plages du debarquement

Points positifs : Très spacieux et dans un environnement agréable avec un très joli parc : terrain de tennis, trampoline,... Très bien pour les enfants

Points négatifs : On entend un peu la nationale 13 quand in est en extérieur mais cela n'est pas gênant. Dans le logement, c'est très bien isolé.

Points positifs : La maison est un vrai manoir avec beaucoup de charme. Très bel ameublement qui nous fait vivre un moment d histoire au coin de cheminées anciennes. Bel accueil par l hôtese de la maison très chaleureuse et par de magnifiques hortensias. Salle de bains et chambres de princesses par la décoration et le confort des lits. Pour les amoureux des animaux, présence de chevaux très affectueux

Points négatifs : Les poêles à cuire sont abîmées car il manque des spatules adaptées en bois ou en plastique dur.

Très bel endroit à séjourner afin de visiter les alentours de Bayeux jusqu’au mont saint michel.

Points positifs : L’emplacement du site près de Bayeux. Le calme de l’endroit. Les commodités sur place. Tous ces éléments font que votre site est super.

Points négatifs : Rénovation de la salle de bain. Elle méritait d’être réaménagée afin qu’elle soit plus fonctionnelle.

A lovely villa with rustic charm in beautiful grounds

Points positifs : A beautiful setting less than ten minutes drive from Bayeux centre and the same to large supermarkets. The villa was a mix of rustic and old world charm. Comfortable beds and good facilities. We really enjoyed our stay

Points négatifs : There was no full length mirror anywhere and the lighting was either too much or too little. The kitchen & bathroom could do with a facelift

Super stay and ideal location for family holiday

Points positifs : Super facilities for children. Fabulous grounds to wander around. Location excellent to explore surrounding areas eg D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux, Caen etc.. The host was lovely and available to contact if needed.

Points négatifs : No iron available. WiFi could be improved.

Character, space and peace. Perfect.

Points positifs : The space allowed our family enough privacy, but great social spaces inside and out. Huge grounds - lovely for children. Big dining room, huge bedrooms, clean, comfortable and perfectly well equipped. Will certainly stay again. We stayed in the deluxe side. There is a smaller apartment ajoined but it had no impact on our stay at all.

Points négatifs : Nothing at all, we loved it.

Great for a family stay!

Points positifs : The Chateau is beautiful, very well equipped in the kitchen, our host was very attentive and acted promptly when needed, they even had some carrots for us to feed the horses of the property. The property is large and very well maintained. It was a great stay.

Points négatifs : There was not enough hot water for the 4 of us to take shower - however, after complaining, the problem was quickly solved. Same with the heating. The chateau has accommodation for 2 families. This was not clear for me. We were lucky no one else was renting the other part of the chateau, because some parts of the property will be shared.

Points positifs : the environment of a small castle, very private and far from the city. Landlady serious and friendly and very helpful. Professional brand washing machine + dishwasher + dryer and they work 100%, very functional and satisfactory, everything comes out clean and fragrant, a very positive note indeed . If you are a fan of World War II, you will find many attractions here that will truly fascinate you. furthermore, the Bayeux cathedral illuminated externally in the evening with classical/opera musical accompaniment, is something truly exciting, attracts many people to the square in the evening. ;)

Points négatifs : Normandy's weather is often cloudy and variable, similar to England, but you know, it's Normandy. For us Italians the climate is decidedly colder than in Italy in August...
