Points positifs : Everything was perfect!! House was beautiful. Very well equipped. A WC in each bedroom, plus one off the living room. The location was perfect, and sitting by the river with the Cathedral across the way was divine. The hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Will definitely be returning..

Wonderful stay in Bayeux

Points positifs : Excellent communication with the Host with full instructions for key box/ key code. House was fantastic - really clean, spacious and well equipped. The teens enjoyed the gym room and hot tub. It is a fantastic location with the Bayeux tapestry just a few minutes walk away, lots of restaurants on your doorstep. This was our first visit to Normandy and Bayeux was a great base to explore the various landing beaches and war memorials. Bayeux itself is a beautiful location.

Very spacious & secure property in a fantastic location

Points positifs : Property access was by keycode & key box, both of which were easy to use & efficient - no waiting around for keys. The location is superb, especially for the Tapestry museum, cathedral & plenty of local shops/restaurant. Very private area & great security with private drive & gates

Points négatifs : Would benefit from a visitors manual, explaining how to use the various heating/ac systems, hob, oven etc as we had to look through a pile of instructions in the plant room & even turned to Google at one point!

Excellent location, very comfortable gite and clear instructions to get into property.

Points positifs : The location was excellent. So serene next to the river and yet just a 5 minutes walk to the cathedral. Also easy walk to boulangerie, patisserie and town supermarket (less than 10 minutes walk).

Points négatifs : We really could have saved some time and angst to have simple instructions how to use the BORA hob, which had a child lock put on. We had to do our own YouTube research which was not straight forward and wasted our time.

You will love it here!

Points positifs : This is a beautiful building with lovely grounds. It is very close to the Tapestry Museum and to the restaurants in town. The home was beautifully remodeled, and all the updates are very tasteful and well-done. It is large home with very generous space on the ground floor for a kitchen, dining room, and living room, plus more room for a 1/2 bath and a laundry. The primary bedroom is also on the ground floor, but not to worry, the two queen size bedrooms upstairs are spacious and have impressive-beamed ceilings. The final bedroom upstairs may be larger than the other and is most comfortable. The bathrooms in each bedroom were very large and very up-to-date spaces. The photos do not do the property justice.
