We had a wonderful stay — the children loved the park, and the fact that it was part of a castle made it even more magic

The best experience I will never forget :-)

Points positifs : Everything! Everyone was very helpful and we could have asked for more! The grounds were exceptional the staff were amazing and the food was delicious!

Great chateau an beautiful park surrounding it, but on (over) pricey side

Points positifs : Beautiful property, both the chateau and the surrounding park, helpful and kind host Erika. Rooms are decorated accordingly to the history of the chateau while necessary rebuilding (bathrooms) did not ruin the spirit of chateau. Food and the groceries served for breakfast are of exceptional quality.

Points négatifs : One would expect to get all the expected amenities considering the price, but gadgets like smart speaker and TV set are not in the room equipment.

Points positifs : That’s amazing property, with one of the nicest and well thought designs that I’ve seen. Amazing hosts who was very helpful with bookings etc during our stay. A lot of animals - ducks, donkeys, cats, dogs etc. Good breakfast. Very close to Mont St Michel. Try amazing restaurant Auberge Sauvage nearby.

Perfect Countryside Stay

Points positifs : This was our second stay, it was wonderful, there is an ‘honesty bar’ that has champagne, wine, beer and soft drinks as well as meals and snacks, we ended up eating at the house twice as we were so tired from driving and sightseeing, for ‘microwaved food’ it was actually amazing and it felt like a five star experience (see my photo of us dinning)

Points négatifs : There is nothing to dislike, if you understand the various quirks of a listed property, then you will love it, if you are looking for a five star cookie cutter hotel stay, this will not be that lol creaking floors, imperfections which make this such a lovely experience, the eclectic furnishings and gorgeous fabrics keep each stay a pleasant and intriguing one - I have no complaints - we love Erica and the team!
