Points positifs : The 1-bedroom apartment (with a balcony) in question was a good size, well equipped, clean and situated in a quiet complex close to Cabourg's promenade and beach. The total price for our 6-night stay was reasonable. Free, secure parking was readily available opposite the apartment building.
Points négatifs : The apartment is about a 25-minute walk from the centre of Cabourg but, as we like to walk, that was not a problem for us - but might be for guests with mobility issues. Also, the apartment is situated on the second floor of a building that doesn't have a lift/elevator this might also be a problem for guests with impaired mobility. We had to pay a little bit extra for bed linen and towels. But as we brought our own car, we could have brought our own with us - but chose not to. However, this might not suit everyone. We also had to pick up the keys, bed linen and towels from an Interhome office at the other side of Cabourg. Again, as we were motorized, this was only a slight inconvenience for us. It might be a bigger deal for other guests. For the day of our departure we had been instructed to return the keys, information brochure, bed linen and towels to the same Interhome office but when we got there at about 10am (on a Tuesday) we found the office locked, and a notice in the window saying that office was unexpectedly closed for the day. That meant that we had to return to the apartment to leave the bed linen and towels there and then return to the Interhome office to leave the keys and information brochure in its mail box. If we had been informed of the office closure on the previous day, we could have left the bed linen and towels in the apartment and would have had only to visit the office once to deposit the keys and brochure. Without all of this last-minute hassle, I would have given the apartment a higher score.
