Beautiful spacious house in a central location.

Points positifs : It’s a beautiful spacious house in a central location. Lovely decor, bathrooms & garden. It was very well equipped. Alex at Melrose was very helpful.

Points négatifs : Some of the bedrooms could have done with a chest of drawers, full length mirror & a waste paper bin.

Points positifs : Very good location, comfortable rooms and very good facilities

Excellent choice for groups of 6-8 persons.

Points positifs : Excellent for large groups. Well equipped kitchen and dining room for cooking own meals.

Points négatifs : Quite difficult to get to top floor with luggage. No shower in top floor bathroom.

A wonderful stay in a beautiful house!

Points positifs : We had a wonderful stay. The house was perfect for our family with plenty of room for everyone. It was wonderfully updated and we thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor area! The location is perfect to explore the city. The host was very responsive.

Points négatifs : I didn't love that the upstairs bathroom only had a bathtub instead of a shower, but we were able to share with the bathroom on the second floor. Only a minor inconvenience. Two of the bathrooms didn't have hand soap, which I'm sure was remedied after telling the host. The pillows were very uncomfortable to all of us. A few things I would change, but I would definitely stay here again when visiting Bayeaux!

Charming home in the heart of Bayeaux.

Points positifs : The location was spectacular- n the heart of Bayeaux within easy walking distance of restaurants, the Cathedral, and shopping. Our bedroom had a view of the Cathedral! The kitchen was well equipped and the washer and dryer were a welcome and much appreciated addition in the middle of a multi week trip. The courtyard was beautiful- and would have been out gathering place had temps been slightly warmer. The bedrooms were spacious and had convenient luggage racks.

Points négatifs : The bathtub on the 3rd floor bath does not have a shower. The tub is beautiful but a shower curtain and holder for attachment would be a big improvement. Small caution, the circular stairs are beautiful but also quite steep.

Points positifs : The property location was perfect for our time in Bayeux. It was close to shops, restaurants, and historic sites. The property was clean and well decorated. With 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, it was a great size for our group of 8. The bonus living area was great also. The property owner communicated well and had numerous resources for the city and surrounding area available also.

Points négatifs : With the property located in the heart of Bayeux and no on-site parking, searching for a parking space for our two vehicles was a little difficult. Something to be aware of also is that there are no bedrooms on the ground floor and a small spiral staircase to the bedrooms. This was a little difficult with elderly parents, but did not take away from our experience.

We loved our stay. We enjoyed eating in some times and not needing to go out for every meal. A great

Points positifs : (Breakfast not included!) The location was wonderful; easy to get everywhere once we knew our way around. Views of the Cathedral breathtaking. Exceptionally clean. Very quiet. Lots of room.

Points négatifs : Lack of places to put clothing and toiletries. No instructions for using the kitchen appliances. Not enough trash or recycling bags and no instruction where/when/how to put them out. Very dangerous steps into the kitchen (needs a railing).
