An excellent base for exploring Normandy

Points positifs : Perfect location in the Main Street in Bayeux but at rear of the building so very quiet. Large and well appointed lounge/dining and comfortable bedroom.

Points négatifs : No parking, but that was understood. We managed to park on Rue St Martin, immediately outside the apartment to unload. Pay parking very close by and free unlimited parking a short walk away.

Very comfortable and convenient to all our activities for our stay.

Points positifs : Well appointed and in good location in Main Street of old Bayeux, very quiet.

Sylvie was lovely when meeting us

Lovely stay in beautiful Bayeux

Points positifs : Sylvie met us to show us around the property and give us the keys. She was very friendly and even though she doesn't speak a lot of English, communication was easy. The kitchen was well equiped and the apartment was very spacious and charming. There is no air conditioning, but lots of air flow with the windows open making it comfortable. This apartment is in a perfect location for walking to restaurants, shops and visiting the Bayeux Tapestry. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again!

Points positifs : Wonderful apartment with a rustic and familial feeling. Very welcoming and helpful host. Absolutely perfect location in the center of the city. We were two adults and a teenager, and it felt spacious.

Points négatifs : We were worried for the lack of AC but with a bit of careful usage of open windows in the evenings we felt fine despite the 33C.

Recommended apartment stay in the midst of old Bayeux village

Points positifs : We loved our stay at Le Petit Bayeusain apartment. A perfect interlude during a mid winter visit, it was cosy, spacious and relaxing in the midst of the medieval village, close walking distance to everything. The apartment was well fitted out for a long stay but 2 nights was perfect for us. Antoine the owner does not host, the apartment is hosted by Sylvie who collected us from the railway station. Sylvie had very limited English but we all managed.

Points négatifs : The bathroom could have been cleaner. Sylvie forgot to explain how to get out the main gate but we worked it out. We had ongoing issues with the internet, maybe it was the main signal. We would suggest double triple checking information for public transport given by the Tourist office as both days it was incorrect leading us to miss our train to Paris and then the Eurostar onto Netherlands, very costly for us!!
